Need some help!

Okay everyone I need your help. I have been out of the loop for several months now and have completely missed out on everything that is going on in the bookish world. I need book suggestions people! What amazing books have come out or will be coming out that I need to add to my TBR pile. I have quite a bit on there already, but I want the scoop on all the new ones too! Also has anything happened in the bookish world that I should know about?

Oh and what about new blogs and bloggers that I have to start following?

Help a girl out!

  1. What genre are you looking for?

    Young Adult:

Unearthly by Cynthia Hand (it's sequel, Hallowed just came out)
    Divergent by Veronica Roth
I haven't read it but everyone says Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Lani Taylor is wonderful.

    Urban Fantasy:

The Secret McQueen Series by Sierra Dean
The Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones

For some reason those are the only books popping in my head right now! The only drama you missed was a few YA authors being upset over negative reviews. Nothing new there...

  2. I'd suggest Under the Never Sky by Veronic Rossi. It's a mix of fantasy and science fiction, and the world building is really amazing.

The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater is an awesome book as well.

My sister just made a book blog (yay!) and she just reviewed Under the Never Sky at Nawanda Files. Hope some of my suggestions were up your alley :)

  4. Welcome back! There are so many fantastic books out there- I guess it depends on what type of book you are looking for. I just read a great middle grade fantasy novel called The Deliverers: Sharky and the Jewel. I am hoping to read Cinder and The Daughter of Smoke and Bone. So many fantastic books out there!

  5. I would like to entice you to review From Zero to Four Kids in Thirty Seconds. Here's the summary:
Amy is a 30-year-old woman with a career path, a balance in her checking account, and a list of reasons why not to have children.
Mark is an older, divorced guy with four kids, an Army cot for a bed, and enough fishing tackle to sink a small boat.
Amy falls for Mark hook, line and hundreds of dollars in sinkers.
From Zero to Four Kids in Thirty Seconds is a humorous yet compelling story about becoming a stepmother. It’s a must read for stepmothers and a fun read for any woman that bit off more than could chew and ended up with more fun and trouble than she bargained for.

If this is of interest to you, I'd be happy to send you a copy to review.

    Thank you.
