Awesome Indie/Self Published Reads (2)

This is the second installment of my awesome indie and self published reads. I hope some of you checked out the books that I had listed last week. If you missed that post you can check it out HERE.
Without further ado, here are this weeks picks! All of these are super affordable, but definitely worth more than the price!

Dream Smashers by Angela Carlie
My review: Dream Smashers
Buy the book: Amazon / Barnes & Noble only $2.99!

Sixteen-year-old Autumn has spent her entire life worrying about others. Her ailing grandma, meth-addicted mom, and a best friend who is always in trouble. She's spent the last few years attempting to worry less, to be carefree, without success.

Enter Evan, whose radiant attitude is an Autumn magnet. With Evan at her side, Autumn's able to let some of her worries go as they trudge through life's difficulties and fall for each other in the process.

A girl who no longer wants to care and a boy who cares enough for the both of them, Dream Smashers is a love story, but most of all, it's about letting go.

Shimmerspell (A Faerie Tale Girl Novella) by Kimberly Spencer
My Review: Not posted yet, but holy wow this was good!
Buy the book:  Amazon only $0.99!!!

Sixteen-year-old Jensen Meadows hands out tall tales like a vending machine. After all, with a con-artist for a big sister, she knows the value of a well executed lie. But when she overhears a murder confession at school and is abandoned by her sister, Jensen learns three new things:

Drinking Red Bull isn't the only way to get wings: The faerie realm is real, and it still hasn't gotten over King Arthur's death.

Shimmerspell, the power to move between the mortal and faerie realms, is lost.

And somehow, her sister is tied to it all.

With the help of a few teenage light-elves, Jensen searches for the truth in a sea of lies and begins to suspect that her whole life has been the tallest tale of them all.
